It’s a one in 3,000 chance, and a hard-working Muskingum County employee is the recipient.
Lori Moore is the Intervention Supervisor at Children Services, and was presented with the ‘Outstanding Child Protection Supervisor of the Year’ award by the Public Children Services Association of Ohio.
"It’s just so humbling. It almost feels a little bit embarrassing because I work with 69 other people that do amazing work. To be singled out, I couldn’t do it without them and it’s humbling," says Moore.
Employees nominated Lori for the award that only one supervisor in Ohio receives yearly.
"She is a tremendous child welfare practitioner and a great leader. She is compassionate, hard-working. She’s able to multi-task and she is just a tremendous leader of individuals in our organization and she has the best interest of children at heart," says Executive Director of Children’s Services, David Boyer.
Lori has worked for the Muskingum County Children Services for 14 years.
