A Coshocton man is facing felonious assault charges after a stabbing incident at a home on Wilson Avenue.

Coshocton County Sheriff Tim Rogers says 29- year-old Joshua Burris is currently being held in the Coshocton County Justice Center awaiting formal charges.

Burris is accused of stabbing 23-year-old Arthur Krem at a home on Wilson Avenue around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Authorities say Krem left the home after the incident and went to the Coshocton Memorial Hospital for treatment.

He was later transferred to Grant Medical Center in Columbus.

The incident remains under investigation.
