You have your usual costumes…super heroes, princesses, witches, and vampires. But some non-traditional Halloween costumes caught our eyes around Zanesville Sunday evening.

You might recognize the brightly colored cube as a brain-stimulating puzzle, but Reily Bennet called the Rubik’s Cube her Halloween costume this year. She says her dad made it.

"He just taped it then he made some kind of wood and he put construction paper to make the colors," says Bennet.

Most kids say that’s what Halloween is all about. Finding a cool costume.

"I like it because you get to express yourself and dress up and get lots of candy, Yay!," says Cara Sherburn.

"Halloween is awesome," says Emily Zigo.

Those handing out the candy say they were armed with enough candy for close to 300 kids because they did not want to run out.
