The Zanesville Police Department has three suspects in custody who are wanted in connection with several area break-ins.

Lt. Tony Coury says the two men and one woman were spotted shortly after 6 p.m. near the intersection of Madison Street and Woodlawn Avenue. Coury says one man was arrested, but another man and the woman fled. A foot chase ensued and officers caught the woman. The man jumped into the Muskingum River, but then decided to surrender to officers.

All three are now in custody, and their names will be released pending formal charges. Coury says they are suspects in several break-ins including burglaries at the Blue Front and Terry’s Tavern.
