The store that has clothed the community for 36 years is announcing its closing.
Wade’s Clothing has been in business since 1974. The retail center that carries menswear and women’s fashion will soon be closing its doors.
"We’ve been in the retail business 36 years. I’ve been in it 45 and I’ve decided to spend more time with my grand kids, my kids. They’re spread out all over the country and have more free time for myself," says store owner, Larry Wade.
Wade says he appreciates the support of the community throughout the years.
"We’ve had 36 great years. 50% of our business comes from outside Muskingum County. We’ve got a lot of great, loyal customers, and going to miss all the relationships."
Starting Sunday, the store will be closed but will re-open Wednesday, November 3 at 9 a.m. when everything will be on sale. Wade says the store will remain open until everything is gone.
