While the nation is getting fewer flu shots this year, people in Zanesville are steadily vaccinating against the virus.

Rambo Memorial Health Center in Zanesville says that they have seen typical numbers of people getting their flu shots this year.

"It’s been pretty steady and our numbers have been pretty close to what they have been in the past for this time of year," says Gloria Brown, R.N.

The clinic is open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 each day. If you haven’t already, it’s not too late to get your flu shot before flu season hits.

"Flu season usually peaks in Ohio in January through February. If you’re not doing it for yourself, do it for your family and coworkers so that you don’t spread it," says Joyce Bates, L.P.N.

Rambo will be open until 7 p.m. next Tuesday, November 9 for anyone to walk-in for a flu shot.
