A 31-year-old Conesville woman is treated and released after she crashed into a deer that went through her windshield.

The call came in around 6:30 p.m.

Zanesville Post State Trooper Corey Campbell says it was a single car collision along State Route 16, just east of Frazeysburg. Scanner traffic initially indicated that there was a possible head injury, but upon arrival, Trooper Campbell found Tiffany Knox has sustained minor facial injuries. She was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital.

Trooper Campbell says a third of the calls the Zanesville Post responded to today were deer-related crashes.
