Snow And Cold To Start Monday

by George Hiotis on December 13, 2010 at 7:50 am

It is a snowy and windy start to the week in Zanesville and the rest of Ohio. The latest blast of winter weather includes a few inches of snow and blowing wind which means a wind chill factor below zero at times. Local law enforcement authorities say so far there have not been any accidents (as of 5:00 am) but drivers should use caution on area roadways. Most Sheriff’s Offices in our area have issued Level 1 Snow Emergencies which means roads are hazardous with blowing and drifting snow – drive cautiously. The Zanesville City School are closed today too – For a complete list of school closings and delays click on the red banner at the top of this page.
