United Way Campaign

The United Way campaign is well underway.

The United Way of Muskingum, Perry, and Morgan counties need your help in reaching its final goal this year.  People can invest through their own employee campaigns or as individuals.  Executive Director Meg Deedrick says people can contribute as little as ten dollars to the campaign and can still make a huge impact.

"The United Way campaign is our largest source of revenue for investment in the three county area, and to date, we have raised 520,000 dollars," said Deedrick.

To achieve their goal, United Way is making it easier for everyone to donate; the texting option being one of the most popular ways.  With everyone’s help, Deedrick says they will be well on their way to the final goal of 955,000 dollars.

"If we are to acheive that goal, it’s going to be through everyone’s participation, and so we want to get the word out that even though the year is winding down, it certainly is not too late to be a part of the change you want to see in this community," said Deedrick.
