Genesis- Bethesda Hospital is welcoming Zanesville’s first baby of 2011.
At seven pounds 10 ounces and 21 inches long, Ki’Mani Cannada was born at 8:27 p.m. on Monday.
His mother Beverly Gonzalez said she was thrilled to finally have a baby boy; she already has a daughter, Amayah, who is 11 months old.
Even though she now lives in Cleveland, she said she wanted to have her son back in Zanesville at Bethesda, where her first daughter was born.
"I feel like I can trust them, I mean new town, it could be different and was different and so I said I wanted to have the baby here," said Beverly.
She will be able to take Ki’ Mani home tomorrow.
