One Zanesville man is on the run after being charged in connection with a robbery.
Detective Sgt. Roush says the Muskingum County Grand Jury recently indicted 35-year-old Teddie Hunter for a robbery that happened at a Speedway Station at 930 Blue Avenue in Zanesville back on December 2nd.
"It is alleged that Teddie Hunter went into the Speedway station, made some motions and gestures and said some things referring to having a handgun at which time he demanded cash from the female clerk at the station," said Detective Roush.
Detective Roush says Hunter is indicted on one count of robbery, which is a third-degree felony, and one count of theft, which is a first-degree misdemeanor. Roush says after Hunter received an undisclosed amount of money, he then fled from the Speedway Station in a white vehicle. The abandoned vehicle was recovered later that day on Potts Lane.
"He is currently on the run. He has not been located since he did this robbery. We are asking the public to look for this individual, and if anyone has any ideas where he might be, to please contact the Zanesville Police Department," said Detective Roush.
