Currently, The Energy Cooperative has 929 members without power. Outages by county are:
· 4 in Ashland County
· 735 in Knox County (primarily the Apple Valley Substation)
· 175 in Licking County
· 15 in Richland County
A total of six line crews and seven Right-of-Way crews are working to restore power. Additional Right-of-Way crews from Wolfe Tree Service have been contracted to assist in tree and debris clearing. High winds today have slowed restoration progress. The estimated time of restoration for all areas of the cooperative is Friday afternoon, February 4th.
Downed power lines can be extremely dangerous! Please consider all downed power lines to be energized. To avoid serious injury or even death stay clear of all downed power lines. Keep others, including your pets, away from the line. Do not try to touch, move or repair a downed power line.
