Young Photographer Makes ZAAP Spotlight

The Zanesville Appalachian Artists Project has selected its newest artist of the month.

Photographer Daniel Huff is ZAAP artist of the month for February. He shoots everything from weddings to wolves. Huff says he has always been one to pick up a camera and shoot.

"It clicked in my head one day that this is what I am supposed to be doing and every day since then, i’ve been out shooting. It’s kind of like I wonder where my next picture is coming from all the time and i’m learning something with every picture I take," says Huff.

He says he spends a lot of time conceptualizing and editing photos with several different photo editing programs. He says he tries to make his work unique.

"Even if i’m shooting a Pepsi can, I am trying to show in a way that when you look at it you can kind of tell it’s mine," adds Huff.

You can check out all of his photography at tomorrow night’s First Friday at the ZAAP gallery from 6 to 9pm in downtown Zanesville.
