Authorities in Perry County say four people are in custody following a drug raid at a home in New Lexington.
The Perry County Sheriff’s Office along with New Lexington Police and two other agencies executed a search warrant Tuesday at 530 Moxahala Street.
Detectives seized around 10 pounds of marijuana and a large amount of currency and firearms from the location.
Four people were arrested and will be formally charged at a later time.
The investigation centered around the illegal distribution and sale of prescription medication, marijuana and other illicit drugs.
The Central Ohio Drug Enforcement Task Force and the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy assisted in the investigation.
