A historic vote took place on healthcare Sunday night in the US Congress as they pass the reform bill 219-212. U.S. Representative Zack Space voted against the bill.
The Democrat who represents the 18th Congressional District says he believes health care reform is needed, but that he has reservations about the bill. Space said he believes it will financially burden the working class, lead to taxing employee benefits as income and mean more money for insurance companies. He also said his constituents are against the bill as are most hospitals in his district.
