Multiple people are injured following a roll-over accident involving two vehicles.

It happened around 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the intersection of Wabash Avenue and Bell Street in Zanesville.

Sergeant Chris Phipps with the Zanesville Police Department says 66-year-old Judy Nesselroad was driving eastbound on Wabash Avenue in a red Dodge Caliber when she went through a stop sign, striking a red Chevy Blazer; it rolled over on impact.

A child, teenager, and adult from that vehicle were transported to Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. Their identities and injuries are unknown at this time. Nesselroad refused treatment. Sergeant Phipps encourages safe driving to prevent accidents like this one.

"Make sure that you followed the posted speed limits they are there for a reason, to keep everybody safe," he said.

Nesselroad will be cited with failure to yield at a stop sign. Part of Bell Street was temporarily shut down while emergency personnel cleared the scene. The accident remains under investigation.
