A man called a "ring-leader" after a drug bust in Adams Mills is set to change his plea.
According to federal court documents Hugo Ayala, of Columbus, is expected to plead guilty in federal court in Dayton.
Last September multiple law enforcement agencies discovered more than 5,000 marijuana plants in two separate plots in Adams Mills.
Ayala and 10 other Mexican nationals were arrested and charged with conspiracy to manufacture marijuana. At a press conference following the arrest former Ohio Attorney General Richard Cordray said the men were part of the Mexican drug cartel.
Five other defendants are also set to change their pleas.
