Thursday afternoon, Time Warner Cable in Zanesville spent some time with some area middle schoolers educating them about wireless technology.

The "Cracking the Codes" event allowed Maysville Middle Schoolers to learn about the importance wireless technology plays in the 21st century and how students will ultimately benefit.

"Studies are showing that in the future, most of the industry is going to be focused on science technology engineering and math skills are going to be needed for future industries so we need to really train our kids and prepare them," said Alison Barret, Community Relations for Time Warner.

Time Warner plans to continue being pro-active in volunteer opportunities in southeast Ohio including building new partnerships with various sectors of the community.
