About 240 students entered the Jack Anderson Stadium today as seniors…and left as alumni.

The Tri-Valley High School graduation brought in quite a crowd this afternoon to celebrate the school’s 45th commencement. Principal, Jim Pottmeyer, said the group is a wonderful representation of what the school is about.

"Basically they have set alot of pretty high goals, lofty goals, but they were willing to work hard and achieve those goals," said Pottmeyer. "And they did a really nice job. So, I’m really proud of this group."

Pottmeyer said, 12 seniors had a perfect 4.0 GPA all throughout high school. A billboard commemorating these students can be seen along state route 60. The school’s goal is for the students to reach their full potential, which Pottmeyere said, was sometimes a challenge, but in the end was a success.

"At  the end of the year I’m always pleased with the progress they’ve made," said Pottmeyer." They did a great job. So this has been a particularly, really great group, so I’m very pleased with them."

The students will go on to all different walks of life and he wished them the best. Congratulations Tri-Valley class of 2011.
