A Muskingum County Grand Jury Wednesday indicted five people in connection with the discovery of an active meth lab in Zanesville May 4th. The Prosecutor’s Office says Misti Emmert was indicted on 11 charges including illegal manufacture of meth and illegal possession of chemicals for the manufacture of meth, both with juvenile specifications, engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity and child endangering. Josh Nelson, Elizabeth Barnett and Tania Welch were also indicted on multiple charges inlcuding complicity to illegal manufacture of meth, illegal possession of chemicals for meth and child endangering. And Gregory Tompkins of Zanesville was indicted on one count of possession of meth. All five suspects will be arraigned next Wednesday. On Wednesday May 4th the Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office and Zanesville Police say they discovered the Meth Lab at 343 Linn Street in Zanesville.
