A pickup truck slammed into a house after a two vehicle injury accident in Zanesville.

It happened around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, in front of 517 Ball Street. Zanesville Police Officer Terry Sheets says, a Ford van, driven by 47-year-old Mary Gheen was headed East on Ball Street when her van was struck by a Ford Ranger pickup truck driven by 31-year-old Jamie Burleigh. Burleigh, who was headed north on Peter’s Alley, failed to stop at the end of the alley, and struck the side of the van. The impact caused the pickup truck to hit a house located at 517 Ball Street, leaving a hole in the home.

The drivers of both vehicles, and two other occupants, were transported to Good Samaritan hospital, with what Patrolman Sheets called minor visible injuries. He also said multiple citations are possible, pending further investigation.
