Wayne Avenue in Zanesville will shut down Monday for several months.
The city is set to start installing a sewer line from State Route 555 bridge to Marietta Street.
Additionally the Ohio Department of Transportation will soon begin repaving Wayne Avenue from Duncan Falls all the way up to the Greenwood and Market Street intersection.
Zanesville Public Service Director Mike Sims said only residents and business owners will be able to get through during construction.
The road will be closed through July 29th.
The northbound detour is SR 555 to Moxahala Avenue to Muskingum Avenue to the 6th Street Bridge to 6th Street to Market Street. The southbound detour is Marietta Street to the 6th Street Bridge to Putnam Avenue to Cleveland Avenue to Moxahala Avenue to SR 555. Detour signs will be posted.
