The Perry County coroner has ruled a Roseville woman whose body was discovered in a ditch, drowned.
According to The Dispatch, Dr. Bradley Wilson says 42-year-old Loria Chevalier drowned in the ditch, because she was too drunk to pull herself out of about eight inches of water.
Chevalier’s body was discovered on the side of Ceramic Road in Crooksville on April 14 by construction workers. Dr. Wilson reported that toxicology results showed Chevalier’s blood alcohol level was 0.42 percent. Wilson listed her official cause of death as water aspiration due to acute ethanol toxicity, and he concluded that there was no foul play.
