Raising Money for Catholic Education

If you are looking for stuff look no further then the Bishop Fenwick Yard Sale.

There is clothes, tools, toys and assorted electronics on sale. Seventy-five families are taking part in order to sell their stuff to raise money for the tuition assistance scholarship fund.

"It helps them pay their tuition. It helps families in need come to our school for a Catholic education," explained Kelly Taylor the event’s organizer.

Taylor said they hope to raise $20,000 for the scholarship fund. The sale started Thursday and new items are being brought in daily.

"We work very hard on this and hundreds of hours go into this," said Taylor. "It takes a good week to get it going."

The sale continues Friday until 3p.m. and Saturday from 9am-3pm at the St. Nicholas Activity Center. Saturday is half off day which mean every ticket with a star in the corner is half priced.
