Dale Wright has been found guilty of murder and child endangering.
During Wednesday’s court proceedings the Defense emphasized to jurors the fact that Wright never failed to cooperate with authorities.
Wright was charged with one count of murder and one count of child endangering in the death of his five-month old child, Dash last August. The child died of blunt force trauma to the head.
Earlier in the day, the Defense called Dr. Mark Shuman of Miami, Florida to the stand to testify.
He said the head injuries to the young child could have been weeks old and that shaking the child could not have caused death, but rather whiplash.
Yesterday the Defense tried to establish the victims mother, Rosemary Elson, as a suspect.
Wright is facing 15 years to life in prison.
