Zane’s Landing Park was empty Monday afternoon but come this weekend the sound of Harleys will fill the air.

The 30th Annual Veterans Bike Show will take place this Saturday and Sunday. The event will include a poker run, 50/50 raffle, bike give-a-way, and live entertainment. Organizer Kenny Forsythe said there is something for everybody.

"I like to see a big crowd show up," said Forsythe. "Old, young, enjoy the show, enjoy the entertainment."

All proceeds will go to benefit veterans and other non-profit organization. Forsythe said most of the money raised will stay in Zanesville and can be upwards of $15,000.

"We just like giving our money to the veterans," said Forsythe. "We hope to see a lot of veterans down there."

The first band will begin Saturday at 4 o’clock. Sunday’s entertainment and bike show will begin at noon with awards presented at 6:30pm.
