The sound of motorcycles filled the air this weekend at Zane’s Landing Park.

It was the 30th Annual Veterans Bike Show which included a poker run, 50/50 raffle, live entertainment and a bike give-away for the kids. Organizer Kenny Forsythe said there is something for everybody.

"So the parents can come down here and the kids ain’t bored," explained Forsythe. "It gives the kids a little bit of something to be excited about, so then they’re not saying mommy let’s go home."

All proceeds raised will go to benefit veterans and other non-profit organizations. Forsythe said most of the money raised will stay in Zanesville and can be upwards of $15,000.

"They fought for our country," said Forsythe, " the ones that come back, their having fun and help us remember the ones that gave their life for us."

The weekend of events was sponsored by the Old Boy Bikers.
