A Thornville man is taken by Medflight to a Columbus hospital after authorities say the cement truck he was driving rolled over on a roadway in Licking County.
It happened around 7:45 a.m. Tuesday on Palmer Road near State route 37 and Swamp Road.
A dispatcher with the Granville Post of the State Highway Patrol says the driver was trapped inside his vehicle and had to be removed by rescue workers.
The man’s name hasn’t been released at this time. He was flown to OSU Medical Center where he’s reportedly in critical condition.
Authorities say the roadway was closed as crews from several nearby fire departments worked to clear the scene.
The accident remains under investigation.
