“Stuff The Bus”- Supplies Needed

If you were shopping at the North Zanesville Wal Mart Saturday you may have been asked to help ‘Stuff the Bus.’

For the 3rd year the Tools for School Project has aimed to fill a bus with school supplies to benefit local kids. Co- Chair Ellen Shaw said the goal is to give children in need a brighter future.

"Anything we can do to help kids achieve in school is wonderful," said Shaw.

This year 800 children have qualified to receive a free back-pack of school supplies but donations are still needed.

"Every little bit helps," explained Shaw. "If they buy one extra thing for their child to donate to us that helps us and other children."

If you weren’t able to donate items on Saturday, items can still be dropped off at the East Side Community Ministry in Zanesville.
