A Coshocton man suffers a neck injury after being stabbed Thursday night.
The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office said 40-year-old Danny Jones of 631 Orange Street in Coshocton was found at his home with a laceration to the left side of his face from his lip to his ear and partially down his neck.
The suspect 39-year-old Scott Crabtree also of Coshocton fled on foot prior to deputies arrival but was found shortly after at the intersection of Main Street and East Main where he was taken into custody. The knife used in the crime was recovered from his jeans.
Crabtree is being held at the Justice Center pending a bond hearing on a charge of felonious assault.
Jones was taken to Coshocton County Memorial Hospital and was transferred to Grant Medical Center. He underwent surgery for a severed temporal artery.
