The Farmers Market in downtown Zanesville is gearing up for the fall season.

Zanesville Downtown Association Manager Dana Matz says while it is approaching mid-season for crops in Muskingum County, some changes are on the way as fall approaches.

"We have Thomas’ Orchard, they have their grapes and peaches and apples are coming on. Soon they will be bringing their famous apple cider to the market so we’re real excited," said Matz.

The next transition for farmers and the Farmers Market will be the fall favorites including squashes, gourds, and pumpkins.

"it’s a good and bad thing. It means that the markets creeping closer to its end which is mid October but real excited, great selections of peppers and green beans," said Matz.

The Farmers Market in downtown runs every Wednesday starting at 3 p.m. and will last through October 19th.
