Business managers will have the opportunity to learn how new technology can help them become more mobile.

The Muskingum County Business Incubator is holding a luncheon that will focus on Cloud Computing.  Executive Director Carol Humphreys said there are a lot of advantages to using Cloud.

"I work on the internet at home a lot and go to my PC," said Humphreys.  "If I had my memory in the Cloud, I would not need to be able to do that.  I could just simply go into my office computer and be able to work from home."

Humphreys said the keynote speaker is an IBM Business Partner.  She said he will go over a variety of issues concerning Cloud Computing.

"Specifically some of the things are storage of your information and security," said Humphreys.  "He’s also going to talk about the definition of Cloud Computing and what it really means."

The luncheon will take place on Friday at 11:30 AM at the Zane State College/Ohio University-Zanesville campus center.  Admission is $20 and includes lunch.  If you’re interested in attending, you can call (740) 297-7060 for more information.
