Longaberger Music & Food Festival

Here’s your chance. You can enjoy two full days of live music, cooking demonstrations and prizes for free.

Longaberger Homestead is hosting their first annual Longaberger Music and Food Festival.  The festival features a variety of bands and several chefs who will prepare different specialty dishes.

"On Saturday, we have Bill Bird, the Corporate Chef for Zandex Health Care, he will be here featuring tailgating recipes. He will be doing pre-game, game time and post game meals to get everybody ready for the football season," said Longaberger Marketing Manager Nick Welch. 

Welch says guests can also enjoy sales, a farmer’s market, games and door prizes. A major highlight of the festival is the ultimate tailgating prize package drawing.

"We have our grand door prize drawing. We will give it away on Saturday at 4:00. It is nearly 2,000 dollars in value. It includes Ohio State tickets, a cookout for 12 hosted by Chef Bill Bird, several Longaberger baskets, four rounds of Golf at Longaberger Golf Club, some gift certificates to Riesbeck’s food markets, gift certificates to Longaberger as well," said Welch. 

The festival is sponsored in part by the Ohio Farm Bureau, Riesbeck’s Food Markets, WHIZ Interactive Media and Longaberger Homestead. Admission is free and the event with run Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
