The Muskingum County Fair Tuesday released the attendance numbers from this year’s blue ribbon event. Board member John Graham says 36,552 people visited the fair this year. Graham says that is 920 more people than the year before. One of the biggest days this year was Pepsi Day – which brought in 6013 visitors—an increase of 1000 from the year before. Graham says Coke day brought 5766, which was also an increase. Wendy’s Days at the fair brought in 3513 and Veterans and Senior Day added another 1787. Graham says he figures the economy, high gas prices, and pretty good weather helped increase attendance this year at the fair.
