MVL Volleyball Gets Started With a Bang

H.S. Volleyball:

Sheridan: 18, 25, 13, 25, 7 – Maysville: 25, 23, 25, 22, 15

Maysville used a strong fifth game to get victory over visiting Sheridan at the Panther Pound. The Lady Panthers were led in kills by Taylor Tatman who tallied 15, while getting a great serving and assisting performance from Erin Curry who dished out 20 assists. Morgan Swauger also chipped in with 11 kills on the night. For the Generals they were paced by Jordon Gittings who had nine kills, one block, and six digs.

Philo: 11, 17, 16 – John Glenn: 25, 25, 25

In New Concord the Lady Muskies continue to improve as they win their first game of the young season over visiting Philo. The Maroon and White were paced by Hannah Gregory and Erin Shade who each chalked up six kills apiece, but it was Gregory who had more blocks with three while Shade carded 4 digs. For the Lady Electrics they were paced by Amy Evans who served up six assists in the losing cause.

West Muskingum: 25, 25, 25 – New Lexington: 19, 21, 13

The Tornadoes blew into the Perry County seat and cruised out with a win over home standing New Lexington. West M used a strong efforts from Dylana McKenzie, Dakota McKenzie, and Macy Meadows all of whom racked up seven kills in the win.

Fort Frye: 25, 25, 25 – Morgan: 16, 18, 14

River View: 20, 24, 22 – Newark Catholic: 25, 26, 25

Sandy Valley: 21, 9, 14 – Ridgewood: 25, 25, 25
