Open House Held for Proposed Rec Center

An open house was held at Ohio University-Zanesville to get input from the public on the proposed new Muskingum Rec Center.

Williams Architects, a Chicago based firm has been chosen to design the new 10 million dollar facility and Wednesday, the public was invited out to give their ideas and input on what they want from the center.

"The core program is to include active sports, health, fitness, and wellness, aquatics, rental opportunies and outdoor amenities," said Tom Poulous of Williams Architects.

Groundbreaking for the rec center is scheduled for early next year.
