For many of us, Labor Day is part of a three day weekend, but some people are still working on Monday.
Employees at the Zanesville Olive Garden are serving up lunch at the Genesis-Good Samaritan Hospital. Service Manager Emily McGath said the meal will feed about 20 hospital employees.
"We’re serving lasagna, spaghetti with marinera, jumbo salad – which is everyone’s favorite from Olive Garden – and breadsticks," said McGath.
McGath said Olive Garden restaurants across the country are giving back to their communities. She said her employees don’t mind helping out.
"All of the employees here are always willing to help with any kind of hospitality visits," said McGath. "It makes them feel good too."
McGath said this is the tenth year that Olive Garden has delivered food on Labor Day.
