If you are looking for something to do, this weekend is your chance.

Vice President of the Zanesville-Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce Kelly Ashby says the fall season is the ideal time for tourism in Muskingum County.

"Muskingum County attractions do a great job at putting events together and having great things for travelers to do. Events are still top 5 reasons why folks travel. They love to go to events and we do a great job of putting those events together and making reasons for people wanting to come here," said Ashby.

The Dresden Oktoberfest, WildzFest, The Longaberger Horizon of Hope and Lorena Sternwheeler Fall Foliage Rides are just some of the many events taking place this weekend. Ashby says tourism has a huge economic impact on Muskingum County.

"When families travel here, when couples travel here, they eat, they stay, they spend money, they shop so there is just a lot of economic impact that happens when travelers come to Muskingum County," said Ashby.
