A Zanesviile family is asking for help finding 29 year-old Vivian Evans.

Mother Cheryl Porter said she typically speaks with her daughter on a weekly basis but has not heard from her in nearly 11 days.

"Vivian called me, it was Thursday before last and told me she would be home in an hour, she never showed up," explained Porter. "I have not heard from her since."

According to the Zanesville Police Department Porter filed a missing persons report on Friday. The family said Evans has a history of drug-use and they had heard through word-of-mouth Evans was last seen looking as if she had been beat-up. The family now fears for the worst.

"I feel she could be into drugs and maybe be hurt," said Porter. "I just like her, if she hears this call me, let me know what’s going on."

According to police Vivian Evans is 5 foot 4 inches, about 140 pounds with brown hair and green eyes. Officials said she does not have a residence and may be in the company of a George Hamilton- who family members said Evans was dating. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Zanesville Police Department, 740-455-0700.
