Sobriety Checkpoint Planned In Perry County

The Highway Patrol says there will be another sobriety checkpoint in our area Friday. Troopers from the Lancaster Post say it will take place in Perry County. The checkpoint – funded by federal grant funds, is planned to deter and intercept impaired drivers. The Highway Patrol says there were 429 driving while impaired related fatal crashed in which 478 people were killed last year in Ohio. The location of the checkpoint in Perry County will be announced Friday morning.
