The Zanesville Patriots are encouraging people to take control of the future.
The Patriots are organizing a town hall meeting to discuss Senate Bill 5 and health care reform. President Kay Clymer said the forum will feature several guest speakers.
"These are all people who have an interest in bringing our country to become fiscally responsible," said Clymer. "That means we can’t keep debting people, causing their taxes to go up and expect us to become solvent."
Clymer said anyone can ask questions during the discussion. She said she’s personally invested in this cause.
"I’ve watched everything go down," said Clymer. "What I thought was going to be my retirement is sliding down even though I’m better off than a lot of people."
The meeting will take place on Thursday, September 8th at 5:45 PM at the John McIntire Library.
