The problem of teen dating violence will take center stage in Zanesville on Monday. Soroptimist International of Zanesville is sponsoring an all-day program for students at Zanesville High School. The featured speaker of the event will tell the story of a teenager who was dating the same guy since second grade – in the tenth grade they become sweethearts – in the eleventh they became inseparable. During their senior year her boyfriend shot her in the face with a sawed-off shotgun. The public is invited to this special event designed to help recognize if your child is a victim and what you can do about it. The event – which is open to the public – will be held at Zanesville High School – Monday September 26th from 6:30 to 7:30 pm.
