Volleyball: West M stays perfect in the league, sets up Scottie Showdown

The Tornadoes get tested, but stay perfect in MVL play with a four set victory over John Glenn. West M will now prepare for their matchup this Thursday against Tri-Valley at Ankrum Gymnasium. One team will leave with their first league loss.

The Panthers put a hurting on the Tornadoes, thanks to three goals from Skylar Novaria and two from Jacob Waltemire.

Zanesville 4 Cambridge 2

The Blue Devils overcome a 2-0 halftime deficit to nail down thier sixth win of the year. Doug Welker leading the way for the Devils, with a goal and two assists. Payton Norris, Andrew Griffin, and Esteban Ortiz contributing a goal as well. Zanesville moves to 3-1 in ECOL play.

Rosecrans 1 Dover 0

Happy birthday to Logan McLaughlin. The Bishop had the game winning goal on his special day with just six minutes remaining in the game. Rosecrans goalie Jaren Prater had nine saves, overseeing his fifth shutout of the season. Rosecrans is now 8-1-1 on the season.

Cambridge 0 Zanesville 3

The Bishops make it a clean sweep over the Tornadoes, as the Rosecrans girls net a victory as well. Megan Erwine was the start with two goals, Kloie Johnson contributing the third.
