A Zanesville business is celebrating its re-opening at a new location.

Southeastern Ohio Urology has moved next to the Wendy’s on Maple Avenue.  Dr. James Monath said his practice operated for over a decade at the Good Samaritan campus.  On Tuesday, Mayor "Butch" Zwelling cut the ribbon to make the move official.

"I feel great," said Monath.  "I feel like this is the culmination of our efforts to renovate the old Social Security building into a state-of-the-art medical facility."

Contractors completely gutted the building in an effort to modernize it.  Monath said he’s excited that his business held the 34th ribbon cutting ceremony in Zanesville since December 2009.

"That’s exciting for Zanesville," said Monath.  "It just speaks well for the business community, especially new businesses."

He said his next goal is to lease the extra office space to another business.
