The father of one of the boys lost in the Muskingum River this summer was in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court Wednesday. 29-yerar-old John Tullius is facing two counts of rape with a victim less than 10-years-old and two counts of gross sexual imposition from November of 2009. The charges are not connected to the fatal accident in the river. But authorities say they were alerted to the alleged sexual incidents three days before the boys went missing. This past summer Anthony Tullius and his brother disappeared from their camp site at Ellis Dam. Anthony’s body has never been found. His brother Ayden Cecil’s body was recovered. Tullius plead not guilty to the sex charges and the Judge continued his bond at 100-thousand dollars. If convicted Tullius faces life in prison without parole.
