The State Highway Patrol said Interstate 70 westbound is closed Wednesday morning near the Gratiot exit after a semi rolls and catches on fire.
Troopers said motorists can expect the lanes to remain closed until at least 1pm as a diesel spill occurred on the bridge and the Ohio Department of Transportation assess damage done to the bridge.
Already traffic is backed up nearly two miles.
The State Patrol is asking motorists to take US 40 to SR 668 until the can get back onto I-70.
The Licking County Emergency Management Agency is on the scene as well as ODOT workers from Muskingum and Licking Counties.
The driver of the semi suffered minor injuries and was transported to the hospital. The semi was carrying produce at the time of the accident.
