One person is hospitalized following a motorcycle crash into the Downtown Motel in Coshocton late Saturday night.

The Sheriff’s office says 45-year-old Michael Overly of Caldwell had been driving his motorcycle east on Main Street, drove off the right side of the road in the slight curve just east of 7th Street causing him to go onto the sidewalk and then crashing into the Downtown Motel.

Overly was taken by Medflight to Ohio State Medical Center.

The Sheriff’s office says alcohol and speed were likely contributing factors in the crash which remains under investigation.
