Two Zanesville motorcycle clubs are coming together for the kids.

Twisted Steel and The Gamblers are collecting donations for Toys for Tots.  President of Twisted Steel James McGill said so far they’ve raised about $1,700 to buy 277 toys for children in Muskingum County.

"We went around to local businesses and took donations from them, and then we had a raffle last Friday," said McGill.  "We raffled off all of the prizes and used that money to buy more gifts for Toys for Tots."

This is the first time Twisted Steel and The Gamblers have participated in the toy drive.  McGill said he’s a father of five, so he understands how much the donations can help a family in need.

"My kids are excited about it too," said McGill.  "It’s a big thing to help other people that need help, so it’s a good feeling inside."

The clubs are still collecting toys.  You can drop off donations at Adornetto’s Pizza, City Tire Service and Sunrise Strikes.
