Shoppers across the nation are lining up outside the stores in hopes of getting the best Black Friday deals.

To avoid the large lines of Columbus, Cleveland and other major cities some shoppers have made their way to Newark. Tracy Adkins has been waiting outside since yesterday at noon.

"I woke up about 4 o’clock this morning really cold and having to go to the bathroom," explained Adkins. "Then it started drizzling and we thought we were hit."

Determined to get the best deals on big screen TV’s, laptops and game consoles. Adkins wasn’t the only one in line. Robert Rude came from Marion, his friend Angela Messer from Cleveland.

"In the cities and stuff it’s just chaos," said Messer. "Here you’ve got a better chance of getting what you need."

Best Buy was closed Thanksgiving and won’t open until midnight. The store advertised tickets would be passed out up to two hours before midnight for popular items.
