Minford Falcons – Coshocton Redskins

The Coshocton Redskins rolled to another postseason win, this one a blasting of Minford Tuesday night at John D. Sulsberger Memorial Stadium.

CHS jumped in front…

The Redskins have only given up one goal in the postseason, and that came in their opening match.

Worthington Christian, one of the top teams in the state, survived a scare in the other Division III Regional Semifinal, just edging Hiland for a win.

The Warriors advance to the Elite Eight, hoping to repeat their success in recent years.  Worthington Christian has made the state title game three years running, including claiming the D-3 Title in 2009.

Worthington Christian and Coshocton will meet for a spot in the Final Four, something the Redskins have never accomplished.  The Warriors won the last meeting between the two teams, a blowout in the 2003 Sweet 16, Coshocton’s first regional berth.

This year’s Regional Final will be played Saturday at 3 pm.
